Note: The HDMI port on the Gitfos C1 Pro requires your laptop's USB-C port to be a full-featured USB-C port with video output capability. If your laptop has multiple USB-C ports, please ensure you connect the Gitfos C1 Pro to the full-function USB-C port. If you are unsure whether your laptop has a full-function USB-C port with video output capabilities, please contact support@gitfos.com with your laptop model, and we will check for you.

1. Ensure the Gitfos C1 Pro is connected to DC power.

2. Make sure to use the USB-C cable included with the product (bearing the Gitfos logo) to connect to the port marked with the 💻 icon.

3. Use a standard HDMI-to-HDMI cable (HDMI 2.0 or higher specification) to connect the monitor to the C1 Pro. Adapters or conversion cables may cause compatibility issues.

4. Ensure the monitor's power cable and HDMI cable are securely plugged in. If your laptop has an HDMI port, try connecting the monitor directly to it to see if it works. If the monitor works correctly when connected to the laptop, or if your laptop does not have an HDMI port, please proceed to the following steps.

5. Unplug the dock from the power supply and disconnect the product from the computer. Unplug all cables (USB cable, HDMI cables). Let it sit for a while, then reconnect the product to the power supply and your computer, ensuring all cables are plugged in securely and firmly.

6. Flip the USB-C cable connector when connecting the hub to the laptop to see if this resolves the issue.

7. Reverse the ends of the USB-C cable (swap the connector plugged into the product with the one plugged into the laptop) to see if this helps.

8. Use a different USB-C cable that supports video output (such as a Thunderbolt 4 cable) to connect the product to your laptop.

9. Try connecting the product to another computer that has a full-function USB-C port supporting video output to see if the same problem occurs.

If the steps above do not help, please contact support@gitfos.com and provide your order number, laptop model, monitor model, and photos or a video of the device connections; we will assist you in troubleshooting the issue.
